About

Welcome! I am a Professor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen (HITSZ). I work at the intersection of responsible AI, Computer-supported Cooperative Work (CSCW), and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). My research aims to design algorithmic and social systems that enhance digital inclusion, connectivity, and wellbeing, with particular attention to marginalized populations.

Before joining HITSZ, I was a postdoc researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy (MPI-SP) working with Prof. Asia Biega. I completed my PhD in Computer Science and Engineering Department, Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) supervised by Prof. Bo Li in March 2024. Before my PhD study, I received my bachelor’s degree with honors from School of Computer Science at Fudan University in 2020, supervised by Prof. Tun Lu and Prof. Yangfan Zhou. I have also spent time in the USA (UC Irvine and Dartmouth College) and Switzerland (EPFL).

I am currently looking for self-motivated students (PhD, Master, and Undergraduate) interested in responsible AI, HCI and CSCW. If you are interested in joining my group, please drop me an email with your CV and transcripts.
